Last night I did a technique that consists of saying to myself I will rub my hands together in my dream outloud about 10 times, then saying to myself when I rub my hands together I am dreaming ten times again. then all i can remember after that is having a dream and rubbing my hands and was like "i'm dreaming!" and before anything else could happen I woke up right away. any help is greatly appreciated! btw how do you become lucid in a dream once you know your dreaming? when does it start becoming as real as reality? how do you do it? I would like both questions answered please lol and thanks for any help i get. |

Woke up right away? Are you sure you were really awake? Its very common for me to have false awakenings. Where I think I'm awake and then go back to sleep trying to get in the dream again when I really am still in the dream. Try doing reality checks apon waking, and even if you really did wake up your mind might be more apt to do a RC once you fall asleep again. Well anyways welcome to dream views. ^__^ |

"There are two types of people in this world, people who think there are two types of people, and people who don't."
All this hand rubbing made me think of the little dwarf in Twin Peaks, portrayed by Michael Anderson, as the "Man From Another Place," who rubs his hands together in the Black Lodge (or what's sometimes referred to as the Red Room, I guess.) |
