      Hey! a few questions on WILDs

      Hey, i'm new here, just started trying to have LDs last night.

      i have a few questions though.

      I read you are suppose to attempt these while your tired/exhausted. Well i was last night after work, so i tried. It failed. obviously. But i was wondering if there was any techniques to help keep yourself awake and not fall asleep, i find this the hardest part.

      second, how do you check for SP without moving and resetting the "timer".

      --what exactly is a LD? i know its basically a dream where you are aware of your unconsciousness, but how realistic are they? because most of my dreams are very fuzzy, or hard to see most of the time. (Not lucids, just normal dreams)

      --also i've heard of someone saying "step into the dream" once you know your lucid. what does this mean?

      i suppose it is difficult for me to know as i havent experienced anything lucid yet. but any help would be great. thanks.

I count, 1, I'm dreaming, 2, I'm dreaming, 3, I'm dreaming, and I've never yet fallen asleep. There are many other way, and you should find what works best for you.

      Just try to slightly move on of your fingers,

      A lucid dream is any dream in which you know you are dreaming. Their clarity can range from very fuzzy to crystal clear.

      --also i've heard of someone saying "step into the dream" once you know your lucid. what does this mean? I've never heard this before. When you become lucid, stabilize, and then continue to remind yourself that you are dreaming.

      Hope that help.

      I can't imagine being in waking SP and not realizing it.

      When you're in it, you know it.
      To do list:
      Have an LD(without waking up immediately) [x]; LD for more than 30 seconds[x]; LD for more than 2 minutes[x]
      WILD [ ]; DILD [7(ish)]; Fly [x];
      Practice a skill so that I will be better at it in real life [ ];
      Create world peace using a harmonica [ ];
      Solve a real life problem [ ]; Turn the world into a nudist colony [ ]
