      Hola!

Soo... I guess I'm new. You can call me Mrs. Powell.
I've kinda been interested in Lucid Dreaming. But lately I've been having a really really hard time understanding my dreams.
My husband says that I have night terrors occasionally. And I find that sometimes as I'm drifting off to sleep I'll get really scared for what feels like a really silly reason. (It feels like a ghost is in the room or something) I know I know. Silly. It bugs me so much. I love to sleep. And I love dreaming. But lately I kinda of don't want to just because I'll get jolted awake and I'll suddenly be terrified. I have no clue what's going on. This hasn't happened to me in YEARS. I mean they aren't hypnic jerks. I've had those before and it's nothing like that. Although I hate those too. Any who, there is my short little introduction! Heehee. So... hi.

We sometimes call that the Old Hag. Hypnogogic states can feel weird, and can create hallucinations in all senses (including your emotional ones that aren't really senses.) Some people see colours, or hear bells, some people feel fear or ecstasy. Sounds like you stay in the hypnogogic state fairly long. Emotions are extremely exaggerated in dreams, so lucidity should help with that
