Lucid dreaming- the most addictive drug in the world?

      Hello forum!

I accidentally stumbled across the site while researching vitamin b6 (took it before bed and had fantastic dreams.)

While reading about lucid dreaming on this site I became intensely interested. Lucid dreaming sounded fantastic.

On December 4th, only about a week after finding this site, I had my first lucid dream! A DEILD, I believe. I've always been scared of sleep paralysis... not only did this site help me realize that its nothing to be scared of, it also taught me that I could enter and LD from the state.

So, on December 4th when my cat awoke me in the middle of REM, I let myself sink back into the dream state from total sleep paralysis and BAM!- My first LD.

It was amazing. And no kidding, I'm addicted after only experiencing it once.

Thank you very much to the moderators for maintaining this site, and I look forward to learning all I can about this amazing new thing I've discovered.

I think you'll find it much harder to get a consistent "Fix" with LDs than with any drug or beverage

      Haha, thanks man.

You're absolutely right- but LDing is free, legal, and about 550 billion times more fun than either marijuana or alcohol in my very humble opinion.

Public perception of LDing is probably (hopefully) soon going to move from "New Age bull" to "scientifically validated and worth investigating".

Certainly if LDing could be incubated at will without any chance of failure, many depressed people would basically live in their dreams. That could be a bad thing, but there would be so many benefits.

      - Reliever of stress
      - Value of life for paralyzed people (probably the most valuable postive repercussion)
      - Ability to "escape" life in a realistic and safe way
      - Would reduce usage of dangerous psychadelic drugs
      - Would hopefully stop people from raping/murdering/doing other illegal and bad things because they can just do them safely in their dreams (this would be the best benefit overall)
      Stay lucid, stay WILD!

I'm addicted too its a fantastic experience and the thing is that we all share different experiences of dreaming through this we can experiment to see what works for us ...we are all different.
I now have a completely different perception of the word Dream
