      New pew!

Hey i'm new, obviously (ignore the pew )
I love reading about lucid dreams. I've only had one lucid dream in my life.
      I think I was about 7 or 8. (i'm 15 now)
With that lucid dream came a false awakening I think it's called.
I don't remember much about the lucid dream except I tried yelling out for someone to wake me, then woke up to the false-dream-awakening thing.
I woke up in my room and someone was there and they took me to the door and then I woke up.

      (this isn't a lucid dream)
Also I have my alarm in the morning set to radio, and when it goes off it wakes me a little bit but I can still see whats going on in my dream, and the people talking on the radio manipulate my dream. For eg if they talk about a new song coming out, I will appear in maybe a music store or something look at the new song written on a CD.
I then usually wake up, and remember the dream.

Also as I said i've been reading Lucid dream journals and someone said they may have had someone else having a lucid dream join into their lucid dream.
I'll try to find the link, but has anyone else experienced something like this?

      Edit

      Lucid Dreams - 3 April 1996
I am either in university, or in hotel in company of programmers of both genders. One of them suggests to show a new BBS. We go to the other room - huge warehouse, few computers, but mostly shelves with new "Star Wars" books. The sysop connects to the BBS, I look at the display. He explains that BBS is located in Moscow, but international call is cheap because it's night time. On the screen, instead of expected logo, I see 3D virtual reality world, at the same time I hear way cool music in stereo. I am beginning to get the feeling that everything is a bit too impressive. I went to a corner of the room to do self-test. I looked at the watch - I was right, minute hand is jumping back and forth and some numbers on the clock face keep changing. At this point I took iniative into my own hands and led one of the girls into another room.

Almost instantly a sysop entered thru the balcony. Thinking, for a good reason, that in the lucid dream I am the master, I sent him mental command to go to the galaxy far, far away. Instead, he said:
      - I am not from your dream.
      - Where are you from then ?
      - I am in the real world. You are in lucid dream, most things around you are
real, but there are some that you imagined. I can't see those.

At this point he got tired of explaining and left, telling as he went, that I can read about it in the newsgroups and mentioning devil. By that point my head was spinning so much, that I thought "Oh yes, os2.devil.advocacy!".

I also wanted to ask him, what happens if I imagine a bridge going out of the window and I walk on that bridge - would he be able to follow me ? But he was already gone. I'll ask him if we bump into each other in the future. Or in the past.

Anyway, I see 2 variants: either he was right and there is a shared Lucid Reality, which you can enter thru some other entrance (which sounds pretty exciting); or he was a creature of my personal shadow side which wanted to spoil my fun.
Tonight I will try to have a lucid dream, maybe reading about all these lucid journals and forums will trigger something.
Also I will attempt to try this (http://dreamviews.com/community/show...t=43636&page=1)
It sounds interesting, but as this will (hopefully) be the first lucid dream in awhile it might not work, or I might not have one at all.

      Edit:
      Another Question...
Say your dreaming, your in your house and you relise your dreaming (lucid dream woo) anyway how would you change the scene, for eg maybe an office or school...would you "teleport" as some people have been saying they have done. Other ways of doing it instantly?
I just want ideas for when i finally become lucid...

      Other things about me:
      I live in Australia, Adelaide
      15 years old
      My name is Ray

      Thanks

Anything you believe in will work. I like to "Use the Force" myself. Others use wands, some teleport.

One word of advice, on your first several lucid dreams, don't try anything too ambitious, stick with the basics. You should focus on holding your lucidity as long as possible. Walk around, pick up objects, examine them, you know just do normal stuff. At this point, you are training yourself to recognize and hold lucidity.

You hanve many, many years in which to do the fun stuff!
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Thanks seeker, I'll try one of those

Last night I had the same dream twice...First one I didn't really have control and I ended up getting caught by police, an woke up a little.

Went straight to sleep again and this one was exact same dream except I remembered the last time and did something different. But I forgot to ask my self is this a dream...:S So it wasn't a lucid dream But I remembered this dream more than any other dreams.

I Hope to get it soon.

Lucidity tends to happen randomly, sometimes it take s a few weeks (don't get frustrated, it's VERY worth it,) and sometimes just a day or two. I recommend doing a WBTB to aid in your lucid dreaming attempts. There is a tutorial in the tutorial section (use the link in my signature)

I tried to get into a lucid dream using SP and it was the best feeling ever!
My body tingled all over! I couldn't feel my bed but I knew I was still there.
I imagined what I wanted to dream and then without knowing it I began to dream a little but for about 2 seconds then back to me thinking about what I wanted to dream with the tingling again then my arm twitched a little and I became more aware of my bed. Then my leg twitched and I was awake again.

When I'm not aware and almost dreaming what am I meant to do then?
