      new kid on the block

Hi, I'm new here...I signed up because the thought of being in control of my dreams is pretty amazing! I have never had a lucid dream before and I'm kinda scared of what will happen. I've been looking around here and people have been saying "believe you can control your dreams and you can" and stuff like this so I want to try to have a(n) ld. What methods should try? Any and all tips appriciated. Thanks, Phatweasul5

      P.S. HI!!!

Hi! I am also fairly new and I love this website and I think you will too. Lucid dreaming is unbeleivable, because you can literaly do ANYTHING! It will take practice though. Take some advice from a fellow beginner and check out the tutorials and the dictionary so you can learn what people are talking about when they say things like DC or DILD or WILD. Have fun!

First off, I would visit the tutorials section to get you started on techniques. Pick one, and stick with it. I would also suggest starting a dream journal. Wether it be on here, or a physical journal at home, a dream journal is the first huge step towards lucidity. Once you can get your dream recall improved, lucid dreaming becomes easier.

      Good luck!

I think that I'm gonna go with WILD. I started a dream-journal today. I looked at the tuts so I knida know what people mean with DC, DG, DILD etc.
      thanks for the advice
