      Hey there

      hey there,
so this is my very first post! i found this website after a friend encouraged me to do some online research about my dreams. i have always had very intense dreams and i also seem to remember most of them. after the new year, i started having dreams that included one of my ex-boyfriends and he has been in my dreams every night since. i'm not sure if there is any sort of significance to it, but the dreams are so real that they bring back old emotions i thought i was so over. anyway, i had never heard of lucid dreaming before seeing this website, but it is definately something i want to try. i have been concious of the fact that i was dreaming before, but i have never tried to control what happens in a dream. i'm excited to give it a try, though!

Hello and welcome, it is my belief that our feelings for others never die they are just suppressed and go dormant. Anyway, good luck with lucid dreaming and have fun. ^_^

Welcome to DV! First off, I wish you the best of luck with your Lucid Dreaming. If you have any questions, feel free to search the site (as there's already a bunch of stuff here) or post in one of the forums.

Second, don't worry too much about the ex-b/f dreams. If it happens often enough, use it as a dream sign to try and attain lucidity. (Check out information on reality checks if you're not sure what they are) If the dreams are bothering you, just remind yourself forcefully that they are only dreams. I'm not sure if that was encouraging/helpful, but I'm kind of tired and that's the best I can come up with right now

Enjoy your stay here and sweet lucid dreams

      Welcome to the site Tinker!

Interpreting dreams is not an easy task, but if there is one person that can do it, it is you. And you alone. Sure others can help you and point you out in different directions, but in the end it is always up to you to discover the meaning that your unconscious hides from you. I suggest you post some of those dreams in our dreams interpretation section, and will take a crack at them, or better yet you can always go to a psychologist that can guide you through the meaning on your dreams and how to deal with it.

      Welcome aboard...
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

      Welcome!

Truthbearer is very right in saying that. You can only interpret dreams because of everyones individuality. Meaning since you have a different mind to everyone else, things will have a different significance to you (someone with a phobia of frogs sees one in her dream, it brings fea. if a person w/o a fear of frogs sees one, it means nothing etc)

Hope you have a nice stay here, questions can be posted or PMed
