How To Bring on a dream!!!

OK so I have been doing a fair bit of reasearch on dreaming and i've come across a fair few things that can initiate dreams. Applying these techniques will definately help those who want increase dream frequency, especially if they arent having as much as they would like.

When you were a kid, did your mother ever tell you not to eat so much sweets before you go to sleep at night because you'll have nightmares? as much as it sounds like an old wives tale, studies have shown that its quite possible. Eating a fair amount of food will in force your body to metabolize the food and the mind is working hard and a lot of things are going through your body, including sugars which can stimulate certain parts of the body. this can bring on sweats and high fevers, also accosiated with nightmares.

Now i get that a nightmare is not the ideal way to start a lucid dream but you can train yourself to become concious during a nightmare, if not, if you have nightmare, wake up, not moving even the slightest can help you go into a lucid dream.

You would do this easily because after waking up from a dream (the nightmare be it so) you would have suddenly come out of sleep however if you leave your body still, you can return to your sleep state, staying concious and voila, lucid dream!

Other people techniques are also appreciated, I'll keep posting if i find other methods too

You dream about 6 times every night, you just need to get better recall by using a dream journal.
