      Hi

I have been interested in LD ever since I had my first one a few years back. After becoming busy with school and other activities I have lost sight of my dreams. I decided along with some other changes I wanted to make in my life that I wanted to bring my dreams back into my consciousness and eventually LD again. I have not had a dream that I remembered for the longest time. Last night before I went to bed I drank some apple juice, ate some turkey, and fell asleep telling myself that I would remember my dreams. I had three dreams last night! The only downside was that I was so excited about having these dreams that I let them slip away from me before I could write them down. However, I do remember one thing from my dreams. That they were awesome haha. Is there anything you could recommend for holding onto the memory of my dreams in the morning longer so that I could record them?

Just keep a notepad right next to you and write them down right away. that's the best way to do it. seriously.

Hey and welcome to the forums.

Recently I've been having a little dry spell on dream memory, but I know why.
When you wake up in the morning, give yourself a minute or two just laying completely still thinking about your last dream. Usually you'll awake with at least a little part, but that is enough.

(I haven't dedicated this time recently)

Just focus on that, ask yourself what happened before that and you'll find it surprising sometimes how far you can backtrack.

Even a bathroom trip or getting up to sit on your bed can get rid of your memories of your dreams. After you have a good bit remembered, start writing it down and you'll most likely find that you can remember more as you start to pick out all the details.

Hope you have many lucid dreams.

Use the telling yourself technique for as long as you can, it's extremely effective. Unless you're me, because I've been doing what you said you did for three or four nights now and I haven't remembered shight.
      The starz...
      The planets...
The intricate and dynamic machinery of nature...
      Are you saying,
that all of this was created,
      BY A MONKEY??????
