Welcome

I really do encourage you to start keeping a full dream journal of everything you can remember. Even if it's too much effort to write everything, you could keep a notepad by your bed and jot down key notes. Since your recall is already pretty good, the jot notes should help trigger the other 50% you haven't been remembering when you wake up The notepad is really useful if you wake up in the middle of the night. I can't generally recall a dream once it gets buried by another dream, so usually I have to make some kind of note to remember it. If writing the full dream is too much effort, perhaps keeping a word document, or keep a dream journal here on the forums?

Journals are the keys to success here I don't think you'll find too many (if any) here who would tell you that it's a worthless exercise
