      TheLight's introduction

      Hi guys,
I've been lurking around these forums for 2 months now and with the help of some tutorials already experienced my first lucid dream 2 weeks ago.

The dream itself went great(at first). So I am standing on hill, that overlooks a river and on the other side of that river some strange creatures (the goblins from the game Sacred resemble them ideally ) were standing near a fire, probably talking. That was the time i said to myself "wat da frak this must be a dream"(just fyi in real life i don't do reality checks and don't keep DJ, so understanding that i'm in a dream was pure luck ). I was exited, but not so much to wake up and the first thing i did was to look at my hands and laugh like a madman . Then i decided to try some super powers. I raised my hand towards the goblins and all the dust and the little stones around them lifted from the ground and started whirling around them. Then they literally exploded and teared them to pieces. It wasn't bloody though, just quite dusty. I remember that the green grass they stood on turned to dirt.

So i was satisfied and happy and here's when i lost control of the dream I remember the rest of it, but it was just a normal dream.

Now I am trying to have second lucid sometime soon, so i decided that participating(aka flooding) in this forum may help

I even got a notebook yesterday and think of using it as a dream journal.
So if you guys have any advice for me please share it!!!

      Congrats of the lucid!!!
They are the most amazing things, aren't they?

It sounds to me like you are already doing everything you need to assure you have another LD soon. Good luck, maybe tonight?
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Thank you for the warm welcome guys, hopefully I'll have second lucid sometime soon

Lucid dreams are indeed amazing experiences. Maybe because they are so unknown for us in the world we live.

Nice. I found that posting on this forum when I was a newbie had a very positive effect on my dreaming. Within a couple weeks, I was having at least one to two recalled dreams a night, and one lucid a week. I need to get back to that...

      Anyways, welcome to DV!

P.S. I love the Nightwish reference in your status. "Over the hills and far away"

First, thank you for your nice greeting

I really think that with posting on these boards I'm making some progress with the hard task becoming lucid. Last night i had a dream where a friend was talking to me about something incredible he found. So I started thinking if it's lucid dreaming, but blast it... just the thinking didn't made me lucid and I continued dreaming normaly
Anyway, I can feel I'm coming closer and closer to a second lucid dream

Oh, and the reference "over the hills and far away" is from Gary Moore's song. But I love listening Nightwish too so it's not a big deal
