      First Lucid!

      Hi everybody.
      After 5-6 days of practicing RCs and WILDs, tonight I had my first DILD (semi-lucid, tough).
      Tonight I woke up at about 5/5.30 spontaneously, and I decided to try a few WILDs (all failed ). Then I decided to get back to sleep.
      In the morning (I woke up at 10am, just after the dream) I had this dream:
      I was in a strange place, kind of british college, with some gardens, some porches and lots of students. I think I just had a night out with some friends, as that was the feeling. Then I watched my digital clock (my personal RC) and it said 11.30; quite strange, we (I and DCs) thought it would be a lot earlier. I checked again and it was 10.30
      I thought the clock was not working; it continued alternating between 10 and 11; then I've got it was a dream. I immediately tried the nose-RC and I could breathe!
      Then the dream became semi-lucid, because I can remember it in great detail, and I was thinking I was free to do whatever I wanted, but recalling the dream I understand I was actually moving without much control.
      Interesting things to notice is that I could fly straightforward (after a few tries I had to stop and perfect the technique, though), and 2 times vision went blurry, but spinning and rubbing hands fixed the problem.
      I'm really happy.

      I also don't think I've ever recalled a dream in such detail.

      It only took you less than a week to have your first lucid dream! And you perfected flying! And you already know how to successfully stabalize your dreams with few problems, and did so twice in one dream! That's awesome! Are you sure it was only semi-lucid though? Because it sounded fully lucid.

      Well, I thought it was fully lucid while dreaming, but thinking back at it I'm sure at all.
      I couldn't stop moving around; it was like I was continuing the old dream, but knowing I was dreaming. Flying and stabilization could be an automatic reflex, eg, I knew I was dreaming, and unconsciously used those techniques as I read them, and with good autosuggestion they worked straightforward (as I wasn't directly using them).
      It was pretty nice, thought.
      Next time I'll try to stand still for a while, thinking about the situation, exploring senses and trying achieving better lucidity.
      Also notice that every time I tried to fly I could float up to 5-10 meters high and move nice, but as soon as I had the intention to get to another place flying I was just 'teleported' there. This way scenes changed some 8-10 times (once every say, 30 seconds).
      What really impressed me is how I remember being aware it was a dream, yet feeling that so real; I also felt fresh air on my face while walking when I tried to notice it.
      I woke up right after the dream, but differently from other dreams (even waking up right after them) I could recall it very well.

      I also hope to WILD (or FILD; I'll try it tonight, if I remember) soon; that should give me more control on the dream.

      Well, reguardless of how you did it, you did it, and you did it very shortly after trying. You still get a thumps up in my book

      Wow, thats impressive! I bet most of us wish we made that much progress so quickly!

      Congrats - Always tell yourself that you are dreaming and focus on all the visuals. You'll gain more control of the dream!

      Congrats on the lucid dream in the first one I had I couldnt resist punching the head of my school in the face. Awwwwwww yeah!
