      Lightbulb Had a lucid-ish dream a while ago

      It wasn't really lucid. Oh, yeah, this is also my first post here. But this dream was strange. I was off doing whatever in a non-lucid dream. All of a sudden I hear the phrase "lucid dream" whispered in my ear 3 times. My dream jumps to an extremely vivid white field filled with red 3D cubes. Here I'm thinking... what the hell? It was so lifelike and vivid. But as soon as the scene jumped and as soon as it became vivid, I woke up.

      I've never had an actual lucid dream, that's the closest I've gotten. Any tips or pointers as to why this would happen?

      It sounds to me like you are on your way! Obviously the concept of lucid dreaming has made it's way into your subconcious, therefore I expect you will have a lucid dream shortly. Maybe tonight? Good luck!
