      Hello thar, cubemario here!

I'm glad to be apart of this community. I wasn't comfurtable sharing my lucid experiences before, but after reading about some peoples, i've become open. It's great to be here and not feel weird anymore about my dreams. You may check out two of my several lucid dreams at the lucid dreaming board.

I hope I have fun here.

Hey there Cube I'm glad you joined us. DV's a great place to find a lot of people who are unashamedly interested in dreams, myself included. I hope you enjoy your stay and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. You can also PM myself or one of the other Dream Guides (DGs), mods, friendly people you come across, etc.

So when did you learn about LDing and when did you have your first? Did you use any induction techniques or are you one of those lucky naturals?

      Sweet Lucid Dreams!

Well, my good sir. I'm mostly a lucky natural. Although I do have a couple techniques that can cause lucid dreaming AND let you have the dream you want.

Anytime before the couple hours you sleep think about something a lot, or even better do something related to it. Since your already thinking about wanting to have a lucid dream and know what you want as a dream. Your brain may compensate for what you want inside your dream. How do you think i've gotten those super hero dreams hmm? If it doesn't work the first, second, or third time just keep trying and it'll happen. Also, make yourself believe what you want IS possible even in real life, even if it isn't you can convince yourself that it is.

So anybody may try it out and let me know if it worked for you.

Oh and as for my first, well i'll be honest don't remember!

I learned about lucid dreaming today, when me and my friend talked about it on AIM. It sparked my intrest and I wanted to know the specifics, I wanted to talk about it, and I wound up here.

You said "sir" and I suppose if you're in the military that's now it goes. I, however, would never be able to make it through boot camp, so you can call me Amé or AS or kind of whatever you think I'll respond to. I was just pointing out something miniscule because I'm tired and I just got back from a long post in the Philosophy Forum so I'm feeling rather petty right now.

I'm surprised no one else has said hello!

Welcome Cube! Or would you prefer Mario?

Glad to have you here. I'm sure you'll like it -- it's generally a great group of people. Sounds like you've had some interesting LD experiences. I'm something of a natural myself, but I'm trying to learn to have LDs more consistently and to have more control -- before I joined DV my LDs were rare things and control was sporadic.

I've added your AIM name to my IM list -- feel free to IM me anytime for a chat.

P.S. That goes for anyone here -- I have about 150 DV members on my IM list now.
