      Possible Lucid?

      K so I was doing SP to get into dream right away, and it worked sort of. I had a dream I knew I was in but it felt like I was sort of day dreaming aswell...well I could still feel my real eyes...and they where trying to open. So i let them open thinking it would make me go into the dream more and it didn't i woke up.

      But in the dream i spun around cos it started to get all black and as i spun it was like in 3rd person view...then when i stopped it was back to normal. I rubbed my hands together and then it stopped...I walked forward and then noticed my real eyes and opened them.

      So i'm guessing opening my eyes shouldn't have been a good idea..
      and does this count as a lucid as It felt like a daydream...
      If I picked something up around me would i have gotten into the dream better? (nothing to hold onto or pcik up really....maybe door frame)

      For me I can't really see in daydreams, more just feel the scene. So if you really saw the scene, I guess it was a LD... But for me, most of the time there is no question, either I was, or I wasn't. Feels different.
      What's the difference between dreaming that you're lucid and lucid dreaming?

      Well I was playing call of duty 5 before I went to sleep and when i was day dreaming or just dreaming for couple seconds I had a crosshair in front of me like i could shoot...it went away after I spun around.

      You probably experienced a short semi-lucid dream, where you began with the knowledge it was a dream, then immersed yourself into it and forgot about it. It helps if you write "This is a dream." on the back of your hand with some sort of writing utensil when your dream is hazy. I've also heard demanding lucidity works equally well, but that doesn't seem to work for me. I just wipe off my glasses, then rub my hands to gether and blink really hard. It seems to snap everything into focus for me.

      I didn't think of anything like that. If it happens tonight i'll try writing something or "demand lucidity".

      Well I tried to do it again and as I was laying there I heard a bug flying around my room. I ignored it but it kept coming closer and closer and closer to my ear and was anoying me.
      So I threw my covers of and the sound stopped.
      I put the covers back and tried again...
      I kept getting itches on my leg like something was crawling there but nothing was there when i went to feel..i tried again and I ignored the itches...but then all of a sudden I had this really sharp pain just under my knee cap...I opened my eyes thinking it was an effect of SP or something...but it kept going i turned my light on and felt me leg the pain stopped and nothing was there.

      Was this my brain testing to see if I was still awake or something. It was a painful way of doing it

      ok now I had something like that

      well I tried to enter the SP and then my eyes went crazy and tried to open by themselves... so I opened them and it was all over the worst part is that my eyes tried with all their strength to open ok hope you can solve that thing

      You could try stretching beforehand, itching/buzzing is your brain's test, pain not so much.. might be a cramp from staying still so long.


      Try using a sleep mask, it puts a little pressure on your eyes so they don't do that, and if you do 'wake up' reality check no matter what.

      Ok this is strange

      last night I tried to do some DILD, and I had 3 LD... but then I was liek I couldnt sleep, I had to go to another bedroom to sleep, every time I wanted to sleep I saw images... and I couldnt sleep anyways... I think I met my dream guide, it is a lizard, a mysterious one...
