      Lucid..but not lucid

Well I had a lucid dream where I knew I was dreaming, and all of a sudden I said "I'm going to fly!" and then I keep jumping and jumping but I couldn't fly! But then on another dream, I was completely NOT lucid and I was able to fly perfectly :S. Is this bad?

      Hey, Kid Welcome to DV!

It's not bad and it's entirely normal. As far as I know, it's often that when a person becomes lucid their rational awake-based thought interferes with the dream-reality that they're in and I find that to try and use logical thought often hinders a lucid experience. When you're not lucid it's more about "doing" and less about "trying". So, when you become lucid, don't think "I'm going to fly!" Just do it. Jump off of a building, grow wings of use any of the following techniques HERE.

I hope this was helpful Feel free to ask if you have any questions.
