Thread: New Here

Hey all, I am new here, but I think I've recognized that I have indeed dreamed lucidly before, in that I knew I was dreaming, and even affected them as well.

Something that I don't tell alot of people, but I have what I call a dream city, it is a basic representation of Minneapolis, MN and I have visited this place many times. Often new dreams and new places will connect to previous dreams and I feel lucky that it often works as a dream signal, that I've been here before.

I hope to work with people and improve my own experiences as well as maybe help other people some day. I really am excited about this!

Hi and welcome! I'm basically a newbie as well. It's awesome that you have previous experience with LDing, and your dream city sounds so cool! I love the idea of having a dreaming "home base" that you can return to. If I had one it would probably look more like Lewis Carroll's version of Wonderland than anything else. Or else it would be like a crazy version of Tokyo (where I've never been.)

That's fantastic that you actually have a dream world that you can return to often, DeadlyBlonde! There are a couple of locations like that for me that when I'm dreaming, I get this sense of deja vu. It usually makes me lucid when that happens One is a haunted house that my DG (dream guide) often brings me to and the other is an amusement park that just recurs often.

But they aren't exactly places that I want for a dream world. I would love to have a place or a city (or even just a park or something!) that I could go to and know that some recurring DCs (dream characters) will be there so we can have adventures
