      Smile very intrigued!

I've heard of lucid dreaming or conscious dreaming in the past but never really looked into it until a friend of mine who had experimented with it in the past told me about it. I believe that the brain is a very, very powerful thing. I'd love to reach lucidity in my dreams and then taking my mind for a test drive. I'm also interested in the therapeutic benefits of lucid dreaming.

I read about lucid dreaming for a while yesterday and started a journal for anything I dream. Surprisingly enough, I was actually able to recall my dreams from last night and recorded them to the extent of my memory. Thus I decided to make an online journal for a more in depth summary of my experiences (because I'd rather type than write).

I feel like a community would be a key feature in helping me reach my goals. So I've joined this forum to share and learn with all of you. Hello.

      finale.

Just throwing this out there, but if you like typing your dreams, a member of ours, Banhurt, has an amazing Dream Journal software with everything from a tag feature to a customize feature to make your journal the way you want it. You can even import dreams and post them onto DreamViews.

Thank you so much iLight, and Snowy Egypt for the DJ link. I had seen people using special formats for their journal posts on this site, had no idea there was an application dedicated to it- that's amazing! I'll be using this for the entries I post on these forums.
      Thanks again!

Don't forget to download the dotnetfx as well, or it probably won't work.

Beh? I don't use this, and my Banhurt journal works just fine. What does it do?

      i guess it's a dot net fix?

The .exe would get errors that caused termination. Once I downloaded the dotnetfx, I could install it. not beforehand.

Probably my windows/drivers/updates, etc. I'm a loyal XPer with custom computer parts.

      to DV!

If you haven't had a chance to yet, check out the three links at the bottom of my signature, there are some useful induction techniques (the DILDS and WILDS you've probably been reading about) and some common acronyms we use here
