When trying to perform a WILD, I cannot fall asleep. I got to bed around 10:30 set my alarm for 5 and then get up for real at 7. But everynight I have tried to perform a WILD, I find myself laying completely still in bed for 2-3 hours. At around 1:30 I take out my earphones on my ipod and shut it down (my method to wake up is an alarm on my ipod). It feels as if i can't go to sleep for a good 5 hours before attempting a WILD. Does anyone have any ways to induce normal sleep until waking up 5 hours later? an mp3, technique, or anything will help. I listen to a 1 hour track as I fall asleep but it seems to keep me up.

P.S. Is it possible to become lucid when directly going to bed. Ex. I got to bed at 1030 and if possible i enter sleep paralysis and become lucid. Is that possible?
