When they say that you have to be able to remember a few a night, does it mean that you have to remember the dreams you had for the whole week, or remember one dream, then forget it and remember a new one? And what does it mean by "a few a night"? Isn't there only 1 or 2 dreams a night? |

Actually, the average person has around 36 dreams per night. There are a handful of REM periods, but these often get broken up into multiple dreams. And no, you don't have to remember 4 or 5 dreams per night, though it is very nice if you can build up that sort of recall. Generally, though, about one dream per night on average is good enough for lucid dreaming. |

I had 3 LD's tuesday night and remembered all three vividly.. first time that has happened for me. |

So... we actually have many more lucid dreams as we think we do, we don't remember them? |
|
I've always found that the more I "want it" the more I will remember the dreams. I have to make dreaming a priority in my life. Many people wake up and immediately think about an important part of their day. This instantly kills dream recall. Just wake and instantly, and always, think about your dreams first. |
