Welcome. I haven't a clue what narcolepsy is so I'm just going to talk about chickens.... |
do you have good recall of your waking life cause i heard people that have realestic dream can't remember there waking life |
i'm a friend of the account holder with this name, he pointed me to this thread. i have narcolepsy too, along with several other sleeping disorders. i can't say for sure if there's enough consistency amongst narcoleptics regarding lucid dreaming, but my experience is very very similar to yours. before learning of lucid dreaming, all my life, i've had lucid dreams. not just an occasional thing; it's quite frequent. during the day (narcolepsy, as you know, is partially defined as falling into REM sleep right away during the day, skipping the first stages, causing dreams right away) i'll have amazingly real dreams that i can remember vividly for hours after waking. interesting to think of a relation between narcolepsy and lucidity! thank you for posting you got me thinking on a whole new level. i will be going to school for polysomnographic technology to be a sleep technition so i'm always trying to think of sleep disorders and how they affect different aspects of life (and the other way around). all i can say is enjoy the dreams |
