      Frustration.

So Ive been keeping a dream journal now for about a week now, and i can remember 1 to 3 dreams a night... But I could do that before I kept the journal. I've also been trying to do RC's during the day, but... nothing seems that out of the ordinary for me... maybe I'm too logical or analytical..
      Anyway.
I've been trying to have lucid dreams for about two weeks now... and I just CANNOT do it.
I know people that are just like "yeah... I have those every once in a while.. I didn't think it was that hard.."
      I've NEVER had one...
But again, I'm doing the journal, I'm doing RC's, I've tried and failed at SP many times.... WILD's never work because of the failure at SP, and nothing else is really working...
is there anything I can do differently? Or am I doomed to just never have LDs?

Just keep up the work and be patient. At least you can remember your dreams, I have done all that you can do and I can't remember my dreams. Not even a regular one.

Also, there are other key times to do RC's, most notably:

      * When entering a new room, because in dreams you tend to enter a new environment than your bedroom, and even if it is your bedroom it probably won't look the same.

      * Upon waking, to catch those pesky false awakenings.

      * When you spot something that is a dream sign.

      * When something doesn't work like it should, ie a light won't come on when you hit the switch.
