How LD affects proper body relaxation?

Hey, I do apologize if this topic was covered somewhere but I`m just too lazy and tired too look for it.. The dreaming helps our body to ''restore muscles'' and our mind to ''sort out gained experience and information'', so I just want to ask how LD will affect those things.. It is really important for me as :
1 I`m working night shifts, than I go to university, and than tired as hell I go to sleep after 2-3 pm for 8 hours only ! 5 days a week
2 I`m doing hard physical training every 2 days ( weight lifting and boxing)
3 University puts lots of stress on my brain constantly studying information
So far I`m so tired that at the moment when I`m getting to my bed I really dont care about LD or anything and just passing out for 8 hours, though I`m remembering my dreams and trying too push my self to become aware in a dream that I`m dreaming...

It shouldn't interfere with your sleep very much at all unless you decide to adopt some crazy, interrupted sleep schedule. You still pass through the normal stages of sleep. The only difference is you are more aware during the stages in which you dream.

You don't take any weird supplements for your weight training, do you? I'm no expert, but I've heard a few, such as GABA can suppress REM sleep.

Well I dont take any suplements for sport just some higher doses of multivitamins, though from time to time i`m taking melatonin pills before i go to sleep, as it gets too stressful sometimes too fall asleep naturally during the day.. Is there maybe one paticular technique on LD you can recomend for my situation? As my body is usually very tired I`m trying to enter a paralysis while keeping the mind kinda awake but it not really working out other techniques kinda as well... Well i`m keeping doing a dream recall hoping someday i will just realise in a dream that i dreaming without any techniques at all.. And also i kinda envented my own technique ( or no? When remembering my dream actually go and recreate the situation in a real life if its possible, for example like if i had a dream about running away from something in a dark alley i will go and find a similar alley in the evening and repeat my escape, intentionaly kinda trying to realise what im running away from and why , so maybe that will help me ask myself more questions while im actualy dreaming..So far i just blame all failure to LD on my tiredness and also i just started this couple weeks ago so gonna just keep trying..I will be thankfull for any advice
