      Possible Dangers?

      Hey everybody

I got a friend who is deep into yoga and meditation, according to her, some of the higher level 'yogi masters' say that for someone who is not well trained, lucid dreaming and especially OBE's could potentially be very dangerous because we may encounter something we don't understand and I guess left mentally scard or somthing

      N e of u guys hurd about this at all? Or have n e of u had n e related experiences u wouldn't mind sharing ?

I had only one traumatizing lucid experience, and it was one I could not for the
life of me wake myself up from. Wont go into details, but we can at least say
that the entire time it felt as if there was the will of another working against
me, sentient and terrible. I experienced what had to be a short period of
hallucination after waking up *for real*, in that I experienced my speakers
turning off on me after I had played music. I had to physically turn them back
on. Also say a large dark shape swallow up the living room for a moment and
pass, all at 4am in the morning. I didn't go back to sleep either.

Otherwise I would say you have nothing to worry about. Lucid dreams have
been an ever rewarding experience and I don't think that lucid dreams in and of
themselves expose you to anything dangerous.
If it does, it has more to do
with your own psychology than with anything supernatural, though that's my
opinion and I'm sure there are those who would debate it.

      Thanks Invader !

Appreciate it, I had few similar experiences in the past, and although I do believe we are infinit (energy cannot be created nor destroyed), I agree that LD's are a very rewarding experience and personaly rarely if not almost never feel in Danger attempting them...... Can't wait to get my dream recall back up to par
