      some questions....need help!

I have had lucid dreams before but as soon as i realize i am dreaming i wake up. I also have had ones where i do not wake up but i still cannot control my dream at all. If i try to fly, i fall, if i try to make something happen... it doesnt work..

Also I always have dreams that have one of 3 things or all.. I cannot talk because there is some form of mucusy substance in my mouth i have to dig out. The other is that I am being attacked by wolves or some sort of vicious dog. the last is that if and when i am attacked by wolf or person, it always ends up with me stabbing them or it with a small daggar. always a daggar and always in the head or eye. oh and also.. I have a problem with drowning in my dreams but i always realize i can breath. this is also about every night.

I am not a violent person and it bothers me to have these dreams although it is always in self defense. the dreams are never the exact but just the same elements. I have had these dreams for years so it is not something recent. possibly some unresolved issue with myself...? I would like to figure it out so that I wont have them anymore. Thanks for any input!!

Just tell yourself to stop having those bad dreams.,.. or tell yourself you're content with yourself and you dont need those dreams, and if you do dream a NON LD, they wont be there, but you have to BELIEVE it, same thing with LD. BELIEVE that you can get out of that situation at WILL.

You can use mantras to help you clear out your mind about those dreams. Examples of these are:
"I will have a lucid dream tonight."
"I will realize that I am dreaming."

You can make your own, for example, "I will have no nightmares." or "I will no longer dream about wolves". As what Squaddle said, it's all about WILL. If you don't believe, then it won't happen.

You may use your mantras in the following situations:
1.) When you enter the bathroom.
2.) When you enter the bedroom.
3.) When you're waiting for something (e.g. bus stop)
4.) When you go to sleep.

About the dream control, you can learn more here.

I also suggest Billybob's dream control tutorial, it'll help you a lot.

Never lose hope! I'm a beginner myself, but I read a lot
