Different for everyone I guess, but knowing you're dreaming, and the former+ interaction by your own WILL is different for me with the latter as my definition

No, A Lucid dream is simply knowing you are dreaming. This is true for everyone, regardless of whether or not you accept it. Once one realizes they are dreaming, they could choose to sit down in a corner and stare at wall until the dream ends, and it would still be a Lucid Dream.

It is also possible to have control over a dream without being Lucid at all.

For me control isn't even the motivation, it's the sweet freedom that can't be had anywhere else.

When I say WILL it, I didn't mean dream control, I mean realizing you are dreaming and in turn can do what you want to, as you have stated, sit there till the dream ends.

I think you're confusing the actual definition of a term with what you consider a worthwhile pursuit.

      Caradon said it.
