      Hey, don't sweat it.

It takes most people a month or two, though some have a lucid dream the first night just out of beginners' luck. I had one the first night I tried, then nothing for a full month. My dreams teased me... I dreamed ABOUT lucidity... I was almost ready to give up, and suddenly it happened!!

So just keep at it... don't get impatient, just relax and go with the flow. The main thing is just keep thinking about lucidity.

Belated , LipeMarques! Definitely, don't stress! What generally happens with me is I try, try, try for a couple of weeks with bleh results. Then I get fed up and decide to just fall asleep normal and bang! Lucid dream

I've had LD's for years, but when I joined DV, it still took about 3 weeks to get my 'first' one.

Just relax, have fun, and keep working on your technique!

      All of that.

I know people that worked on them for years with out any. Just stay focused on the progress you're making, and try to build on that. Stay positive, never lose sight of your goals, and never give up.

Try using different techniques. And RC may also be important for you.

One week is nothing. It will take many weeks of practice to get good at this. You just have to stick with it
