      problems visualizing

I was in Psychology class today and according to my teacher, people can visualize things like they are actually there. Such as an apple on the counter, and it looks like the apple is physically there. I also asked my family and friends if they could, and they can. I cannot do this no matter how much I try... any thing to say?

You are not the only one.

My friend says he can visualise a picture on paper and just trace it. I can't visualise it and guess what, I suck at art.

Maybe that is the problem I have.. all the people I know that can visualize like that are either artistic or were good in Geometry. =b

Do you mean visualizing in your waking life or during LDing? Well if you mean during LDing, I, too, HAD a difficulty.

At first, my goal was to have a successful WILD, but no matter how much I try, I fail. So, I tried DEILD. It helped me a lot since it'll only work out if you remember exactly what you had just dreamed about. While attempting DEILD, I imagined all the details I could remember about the dream I had. It helped me with my visualization technique. I hope it'll help

I mean in waking life. I can visualize things very well if my eyes are closed.. or if I'm tired. =)
