Question Possible to WILD at any time?

I'm curious if you can use the WILD technique at anytime you'd like, specifically right when you got to bed? For whatever reason I am able to get into SP very easily and start seeing hallucinations after a few mins of feeling deeply into SP. My problem so far seems to be the transition from SP to dreaming. The last 4 nights in a row now i've gone into a deep SP with some wild hallucinations and last night I was even starting to see a scene of a beach almost fading in from black to color. Then it would just start fading away all pixel looking and then blackness again.

So I guess what I'm asking is it possible for people to jump in bed hit sp and get into a lucid dream ? Or is this not really possible? And if i'm getting close at all does anyone have any tips that might help the transition from SP to the dream state?

      Thanks.

      Possible? Yes. Likely? No.

Most people won't be able to WILD unless first doing a WBTB, and even then it can be difficult.

However, if you're getting SP easily you may have an easier time than others WILDing.

Keep trying, try a WBTB, and experiment with different methods and see what kind of result you get.

Thanks for the response, I'm definitely going to try a WBTB, I meant to try one last night but after I got back in bed I just fell asleep lol.

But bottom line it is possible to go into SP and into a dream state from just going straight to bed and not already hitting an REM cycle?

Possible, for certain. Again its the likeliness, or at least vividness and clarity of the dream that will be questionable, as well as the ability to recall it.

So it would be best if I just worked on it while using the WBTB technique you think instead of trying immediately after going to bed?
