Looking at this sig, you lot have no idea of what is to come. A message for webmasters... I broke imageshack.
That's an interesting idea. I haven't played the trumpet in awhile, but I'll give it a try if I can ever have a second lucid dream. |

Aparently, you can re-learn languages you forgot as a kid in a lucid dream, so I'll be interested as to if this works. |

It probably depends. Since playing an instrument becomes a semi-automatic action through training, I think that it's possible. As to composing a short tune and playing it when you're awake, I've heard of ppl who've attempted it and some have succeeded. I think it just depends on the type of person and how much control you have over your dreams. |

I know my bf is amazing at the drums and he wrote a peice in his sleep woke up, wrote it out and that became the cadence for the whole marching season. So I know it can be done although I haven't done it yet. |

Love like you have never been hurt before
I've heard of many composers who say they have gotten inspiration for songs during dreams. Whether or not those were lucid dreams is another question, to which I do not know the answer. But it would be interesting to try. I play trumpet (though way out of practice) and keyboard, so perhaps I'll try this sometime. |
