      My goals

Hello to everyone. I'd first like to thank all of you for helping me into the world of lucid dreaming. I have recently experienced my first lucid dream(it was actually two breif ones in one night). It was quite a feeling. My goals in lucid dreaming may sound silly to some, but they are serious to me. My goal is to use lucid dreaming to play guitar with the great Duane Allman. I would use this experience to expand my playing and help discover my sound. I would like to know if there is a good way to go about obtaining this goal.

      Thank you,
      Allmanbrother

That would be interesting to learn more about music while dreaming. Have a dream land band going on. Fan going wild for you, mad guitar solos, then get eaten alive by the gwar worm...

      Yeah...

How about jumping off a skyscraper? Hmm what else... flying over a city at night? Just throwing some of mine out there.

Your goal doesn't seem silly to me at all. There has been some research that has shown that skills involving memory as well as muscle memory can be improved through practice in dreams so there is a good chance you could actually improve your guitar playing by doing it in a lucid dream.

The ability to happily respond to any adversity is the divine.

That is a very cool goal. Keep track of how it goes. Like Xaqaria said, there is a lot of research about practicing skills in your dreams.

Try to go over your goals right before bed, or as you are falling asleep. You can also do a Wake Back To Bed, and take a few minutes to review your goals. The great part it, you don't even have to be lucid to incubate dream content.
