      Just a dumb question

Well, this is my first post (I'm guessing you can see) that is shown on these forums. I kind of just have a dream related question. Not necessarily on Lucid Dreaming but on dreams in general. My question...

Is it normal to comprehend emotions in dreams on a higher magnitude than in real life? Because I can be in a certain situation and actually end up tearing in real life for some reason. This happened in one dream when a member of my family almost/did die (I couldn't really understand the dream in the end XD). I went through that in real life and I didn't end up crying. I was just really sad, on the verge of tearing, but not really crying.

And don't call me heartless because I didn't cry D:.

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

It is the same way for me. Emotions in my dreams are very often amplified or blown out of proportion. I believe you'll find this is the case with many people. So, yes it's completely normal.

There is--though I do not know how there is or why there is--a sense of infinite peace and protection in the glittering hosts of heaven. There it must be, I think, in the vast and eternal laws of matter, and not in the daily cares and sins and troubles of men, that whatever is more than animal within us must find its solace and its hope. I hope, or I could not live.

So I'm not a complete freak.
      Yay

But I also have another question...

What would happen if you tried to take a picture in a lucid dream? Would it just not work? I'd kind of assume it'd work the same way a mirror works (or is told to work, I wouldn't know because I haven't had a dream that I can control anything yet... ).
