      Hello to all

I have been lurking through this forum for a few weeks, just reading up and learning what I can and I have decided that now is the time for me to start participating. I recently dislocated my shoulder while zip-lining on vacation and my doctor prescribed Motrin as part of the therapy. Since I started taking the Motrin, I have had nightly dreams. All of them are vivid, but so far I have not had much luck with recall, and none have been lucid. For some reason I still have problems becoming lucid during my dreams, even though I realize it's possible. I'm hoping that I will be able to gain some experience in doing this, and I look forward to sharing my dreams with all of you and getting your feedback on my technique and my dreams in general.

Welcome to the forums and enjoy your stay! You can find some tutorials in the tutorial section Those would give you an idea of the different techniques that you could do.

Everyone dreams regardless of whether they are taking medicine or not, it's just that most don't remember them when waking up. In terms of recall, start a dream journal and if you are willing to do this, you can wake up during the night whenever you are in a REM period. Since you are waking up then, you'll remember the dream. Those occur every 90min approximately, so, waking up at 4.5hr, 6hr and 7.5hr would help in dream recall. You could also try using autosuggestion before sleeping to help with that.

Becoming lucid takes time. My last LD was a year ago, however, I should mention I only recently started getting back into LDing and my first was an accidential(as I like to call it) LD but at least it confirmed to me the possibility of LDing. You're going to have to be patient, it's a skill and it takes time to build. Just do the appropriate exercises, etc.... and eventually you'll get one
