could i be dreaming....about lucid dreaming????

ok last night i remember having a dream of some sort.
      this is what happened.
i remember walking into my school grounds and then possibly realising that i was lucid dreaming. i shouted yaaa im dreaming.
      and then i woke up.

the problem here is that i dont actually know if i had a lucid dream or not, this is my first time i went anywhere near a lucid dream. Is there a possibility that i was dreaming i could lucid dream? if that makes any sense.

anyways any comments will be appreciated. tks hope yu can help me out xDD

You can dream of being Lucid, but if you knew you were dreaming, then it was a full-fledged LD, albeit a short one. The only way I can describe getting Lucid is a switch going off in you head. When you dream of being Lucid, you say you're dreaming, and do things like you were Lucid, but there's no switch that's turned on.

The only criteria for classifying a lucid dream is realizing you were dreaming (within the dream). If you realized you were dreaming (which it sounds like you did), then it was indeed a lucid dream. Just because nothing interesting happened and you woke up soon after realizing you were dreaming, doesn't mean that it wasn't a lucid dream. Good luck to you in your future efforts!
