Lightbulb What's wrong in my WILD?

I knew that WILD is difficult before going to sleep in night,so I tried wilding during daytime while taking a nap, while laying in bed,I started counting numbers in my head till I reached over 900!,to feel my body turning into stone & becoming heavy, but I can still move it anytime I want , so I thought this was sleep paralysis,so I tried imagining places to enter dream, but nothing works. Can anybody help me & tell me what's wrong and what shall I do?

I've never accomplished WILDing in the day. I think the rem cycle lasts for 6 or so hours after you wake up, so if you have woken up at 7AM and are trying to nap at 3PM it ain't gonna work.

Best way to WILD is to DEILD through the night.

If you can move you are not in sleep paralysis. From my experience you do not need SP to induce a WILD. This is what helped me get over the hump. Don't focus on your body or the way it feels. Don't focus on laying perfectly still either. Don't even worry about sleep paralysis. Just try to fall asleep and remain conscious while doing it. Counting is a good way to do it. You can also repeat a phrase like "Soon I will be in a lucid dream", etc. The WILD will happen on it's own when you fall asleep. Focusing on entering SP will keep from doing it in my experience, although this works for some people. If you're focusing your mind is not relaxed and you will just stay awake.
