      New guy

Hello I just happened to be browsing google and found out what i've been doing for years is called lucid dreaming. And here I just thought i was special to never have nightmares and control my dreams. I'll have to post a dream the next time i have a good one. I've been doing that to some degree for almost 20 years now. From about the age of 12ish if my memory is what i think it is.

I find it fascinating that people have flown and do it on command in their dreams. I've always just realized it was a dream and to let my mind kinda go where it would want to. Unless of course it was something scary disturbing or really bizarre. Then i would just change the scene to something more pleasant. I'll have to try and bend the rules of physics my next time sleeping as I usually just talk my way out of whatever is the bother and push past it. Damn my logical brain.

Had a thought. Without reading the entire forum as there seems to be lots and lots of stuff here. I'm not sure how much is just people being imaginative but anybody else able to wake up hit their snooze button and then pop right back into their same dream again? I always enjoy the romantic ones i come up with...hard to put them away for an alarm clock

Yes I have been able to do that before. Sometimes my alarm wakes me up from the most amazing dream, so I just go back to sleep and often I find myself back in it.
