      dream recall trouble

I just recently started to improve my dream recall and am having troule with it. As hard as I try to remember my dreams it just doesnt seem to work out. I have a dream journal that I am trying to keep but all I have in it so far is incomplete entries. When I do remember something about a dream it is only a few brief seconds of it such as last night the only thing I remember is an explosion and thats it. Any tips that you could give me would be much appreciated thanks

Try laying in bed with your eyes closed. Your brain thinks that you are going back to sleep, so it turns all of your dreaming stuff on, bringing back the memory of your last dream usually.
