      SP question

I have been trying to WILD after work for about a week. Nearly every time I get the tingling feeling of SP, then I start to feel like I'm floating around on my bed. I'll see flashes of lights in my eyelids and that is about it.. when do I know I can safely get up and RC, and be in a lucid dream?

This is a question that has bugged many. But three things will happen.

      1. You'll fall asleep and enter the dream, then realize you are asleep afterwards

      2. You'll suddenly feel the transition. Images will become vivid and you'll find yourself in the dream, already lucid.

      3. You'll sit there for ages and nothing will happen. Eventually, you'll probably get frustrated and give up.

Seeing flashing lights and feeling like you are floating is progress, but not quite at the dream stage yet. Moving would ruin it all.

Alright.. I didn't move at all. Ha ha. It's such an awesome sensation when you feel like you are floating around your room. Ha ha.

Its even cooler when you transition into the dream while you are fully aware. I could feel both my dream body and my real body, and it was so trippy.

You can also imagine (instead of actually doing) moving around. Sort of wiggle your way into dream land.

      It's worked for me

Oooh, no. If I start picturing myself moving, I'll suddenly move IRL. It scares the shit outta me.

Oh lol well I guess being more specific, I usually wait until all the floating and tingling feelings are done, and then imagine moving. But apparently, it doesn't work for everyone.

Here's a question.. I got into SP yesterday.. I woke up naturally in my sleep, it was about six hours in though. =b Anyways, I laid there and tried to get into SP, which I believe I did. I started seeing dream things form around me, then felt a random rush.. Like somebody sat me in a catapult and launched me (haha). I sat up and RCed.. nothing.. everything was normal, but now when I think about that whole thing.. it seems very dream like and distant. Wtf?

That rush... sounds to me like you transitioned into a dream. Could have been a false awakening. RC's are not bulletproof.

Is that what it the wake to dream transition feels like? I've never transitioned while awake. =b

Its hard to explain it. Its a bit like a rush... sometimes it feels like you fall, or you are being pulled. There is this weird deep feeling.. a sort of dizzying sensation. When it happens, you'll know.

      I'd recommend Clairity's WILD tutorial:

      http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=40684

      and Adam's tactile WILD tutorial:

      http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...=adam%27s+wild

After much frustration with not having much HI during WILD attempts, Adam's technique gave me my first WILD success.

My LDing record, if you want to hear about it, is about 4 WILDs, 1 DEILD, and the rest DILDs.
