A Couple of Theories Inquries and Questions

      Hello, Ok, heres the deal:

I usually dream a couple of hours before I wake up. And even on weekend, I'll break from lucidity, and wake up, because I have a strong feeling that I should be awake or i'm gonna miss the bus or something. Is there any way to help with this? I'll try going to bed earlier to get more rest, so I wont have as much trouble getting up as I do?

Are day dreams sort of lucid dreams? When i have day dreams, I am aware of what i'm doing, and loose complete trace of my physical body, You could probably come 1 millimter away from my face and I wouldnt move.....am i just wierd? is this a sort of meditation? It happens a lot when I'm stressed and is sort of relaxing. Usually starts with the question What If? and Theories begin to pur in until I'm lost in my mind. Sometime I'll be in it for so long, My eyes will be completly dried out, and it takes like 4 minutes for my eyes to stop watering. other times they'll be closed. Or am I just falling asleep with my eyes open?

Also, here's my theory, When I use a sense more in lucid dreaming, Such as focusing more on the sounds around me rather than looking around to know whats going on, My hearing seems to be a bit better in the day? Is it because I'm more aware of my senses? Or am I just being paranoid.

Thanks for your time, sorry if I wasted it(sorry for writing an essay of sorts)

I'm also a chronic daydreamer. They aren't really Lucid Dreams, though you are aware of your actions and can control the environment in them, because they don't occur during REM cycles.

I can't think of much advice to give you on waking yourself up in LDs, but try not to worry about anything while dreaming. Think about things calmly if you need to, but worrying causes stress that will wake you up most of the time. I'll think about it more tonight to see if I can give you any more advice on that.

Also, about your senses seeming more acute during the day after you use them in an LD, it's mostly that your mind has shifted emphasis off of other senses and onto one of them. In truth, your senses aren't any more acute than normal, but you will notice what you do sense a bit more often.

I also am a vivid daydreamer, some of us just live in our heads more than others =P

As for waking up, Tsen gave good advice, don't worry about it. I would like to add however, buy a good alarm clock you trust and let it wake you.

That is a plan! However, I sleep extremly deep, so i'm going to need to find a mini fog horn type set up, I usually counted on whoever is around to wake me up That tip is true, I probably spend more time in my head then anywhere else. eheheheh. thanks a bunch!

Well, maybe if you use an alarm clock and it doesn't wake you up, maybe you'll be able to hear it in your dreams and will be able to use that to tell yourself it's time to wake up. (Almost like a reverse reality check )
