Thread: New Guy

Hello everyone. My name is Jon. I'm 22, and I live in Oklahoma City.

I'm very inexperienced only actually finding out about Lucid Dreaming/Dream Control after some years into college. Though Astral Projection was mentioned to me once in my senior year of high school.

I have two books (Mastering Astral Projection, and lucid dreams in 30 days), and some material on my computer. I've only just recently started looking into them however.

Lately I feel as though I'm having some bouts that seem to be a combination of both, but with my experience it seems they are very explosive and involve lack a lot of control, or they are just really short. I had one today that lasted on a few minutes into a 30 minute nap where I felt myself get out of bed, open my door and look outside. It was really hazy, but the details seemed to be really accurate to the building I live in, and I only just started reading about Astral Projection in my book today.

The only detail I think I can think of that some others have felt is that on two occasions of having fairly vivid dreams that felt like OBEs, I've noticed a tight feeling in my back that intensified the more it seemed that I wandered away from my physical body. Don't know if that's a sign that I had an OBEs (And this was done without and drugs btw), but it does make me wonder.

I was looking for a place to give me some support and to learn from those more experienced than I am, and I'm glad I found it. Thanks for having me.
