I would have to say yes, IMHO. From what I've read, it seems that most of the "natural" lucid dreamers had their first LD when they were children, myself included. |

As a child somewhere between the ages of 7 and 10 I could have lucid dreams nightly. Not only did I know I was dreaming but I could do just about anything I wanted. No one ever told me what lucid dreaming was nor do I recall having any discussions with anyone at all about controlling your own dreams. It just happened and came easy to me. I fully understood they weren't ordinary dreams and that it was my own mind controlling them. After the age of 10 I lost the ability to control my dreams and only occasionally am aware that I am dreaming. I have had several lucid dreams since ranging from a vague awareness that I am dreaming to full out content control but very infrequently over the years and nothing like that intense period of dreaming in my youth. |

Mynd you, møøse bites Kan be pretty nasti...
It is more common with children. In my opinion, children haven't formed the notion of "reality" that most adults have. Their natural curiosity makes them prime subjects for becoming lucid. Also, as people grow up certain things become higher on a list of importance and those things are focused on. Naturally, dreaming becomes a lesser priority and so we begin to lose recall and, for many, our questioning nature that is key to LDing. |

It is most deffinatly accurate to say that children have more dreams and Lucid dreams. |

I rememebr when i was young i used to close my eyes and think my deb was floating and fallign into the drema world. fomr there i woudl be in the drema world and just explore and have so much fun. Now that im older, and i knwo luicd dremaing isnt the same as reality, i have chenaged my mehtod somewhat. Wehn i go to sleep i still feel dizzy and like im falling, and i tell myslef im entering my drema world. Its not the smae as when i was kiad, but it gets the job done someitmes. When I was a kid I relaly bleived i was goign to real place where i had magicla powers( infact, i alwayed used ot get annoyed that i didnt have them when i was awake, even today i get a little annoyed when a door woudl clsoe or open for me just by the wave of my hand) |
