Hi, congrats on your first post! |

I am fairly new to this subject, but it has some resonance... perhaps I've had some Lucids in my childhood. Anyway, for the last few months I have been following some pointers (keeping a dreaming journal, questioning reality during waking hours, etc.), but every night it's the same... I am only remembering basic dreams, and have not been able to become conscious. Any pointers? - Flea |

I don't know if this is a good/bad thing, but I usually get about 5-6 dreams before I get up. Whether this is from the whole night or just in about an hour, I can't be sure. |

Like above, its good to find out your REM patterns, if you wake up early in the morning, try and focus on the time when your at your most aware (around about 6am for me). |

Be Here Now
I'm making some progress. I'm having much more vivid dreams, nothing completely Lucid yet, but better than normal. A few nights ago I had my fist dream paralysis, but my fear from the unusual experience caused me to wake. Fortunately I found a wealth of material on the subject and look forward to experiment with LD induction if the experience ever returns. I'm also making headway in recall, which would be short-lived without the pad of paper next to my bed. Last night I spoke with a muscular Egyptian god with no hair... I mean, not even eyebrows. Unfortunately I have a sense of importance with his message to me, though I am unable to recall what it is. This has become extremely frustrating/upsetting... I am very eager to induce LD and recreate this encounter. |
