So hey everyone! Checked out the site yesterday after I'd done some internet browsing. I read for hours on end and got my dream journal set up next to my bed. Last night, I had a dream (which I do not remember) and very distinctly remember sitting up after and writing it down in my journal blindly because my phone and iPod had suddenly stopped working and would not provide light. I lay back down to sleep, and as soon as I do, my mother strolls through the room telling me to get up. I did, incredibly excited that I had logged my first dream, to discover that my phone was charging on the other side of the room, my sister had my iPod, and the journal was empty. I logged it all and through this managed to recall the dream that I had logged in my dream. Is this good progress for a teen on his first night? I'm completely stoked!

The dream I eventually recalled was this really trippy jumble of every video game I ever played, but in the middle, my dad ran through my dream battlefield. I'm taking to doing reality checks whenever I see my dad unexpectedly and whenever I start playing a game. Is this a good beginning strategy?

That happens a lot, always do a reality check when you wake up, you'll have a lot of FAs
