      Intervals and SPs/Lucidity

I've read here and there about people setting timers to induce lucidty and even SP. I suppose WBTB would be an example, but are there any techniques people use at random or shorter/longer spaced intervals? What tones or cues do some of you use that do this?

DILD is just when ever you sleep

WILD can be in an afternoon nap and after waking up durring REM sleep.

MILD can also be done after waking up at night

      FILD is similar to WILD

most people just set an alarm to wake themselves up. And by tones do you mean binaural beats?

      Whatever may wake you up.

It's more about like can you set certain time periods to get up (i.e. 40 minute intervals with a short sound, and back to sleep) to elicit LDs and/or SP?

SP happens every time you dream. If it didn't you would act out your dreams on your bed. I don't really know about tones to get you lucid but check out the CAN-WILD I think it has something to do with that.
