Has anyone tried these? Someone on youtube mentioned that his technique is to really look diligently at his hand for 15-30 min before bed rather than doing several reality checks throughout the day. |

From what I've gathered the whole point of reality checks is to develop a "critical - reflective attitude," or as said by LaBerge "...asking the "critical question" ("Am I dreaming or not?") as frequently as possible, at least five to ten times a day, and in every situation that seems dreamlike." But also stated in Steven LaBerge's Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming "Asking the question at bedtime and while falling asleep is also favorable." So it is also a good practice to question your state of reality while preparing to go to bed (and after waking up, just in case of false awakenings). |
