Yeah, you can try this. I've read in books that putting it in your ankle is effective too.

Well I went on a camping trip and I[m pretty sure I had a succesful FILD, although I don't remember much of the actual dream. I woke up in the morning and decided to attempt it while going back to sleep. I remember doing a RC with the nose and I realized I could still breathe. This was like this for a while until I felt myself losing the ability to breath and then I had a very quick wake up before going back into a non lucid dream. I am trying to do it again but I keep forgetting in the night even with alarms going off.

      I'll keep trying.

So, you had a success, it's great, but you focused too much on your breath and it brought your focus back to your real body. Try just doing to RC to confirm if you are dreaming or no.

It is happening to me too, the alarm goes off but I just forget and continue my sleep, I gave up on alarms and I'm trying to wake up on the right time by myself.

Good Luck, any news or questions just reply.

It's been a while since I've been here but I've been busy. I had another lucid today; a DILD while napping. I saw "Inception" on the 16th (Amazing, by the way) and was thinking about it as I fell asleep, so maybe that helped. I was able to stabalize for a little bit but then I became non-lucid again.
