Take down anything you can recall from your dreams immediately upon waking up, then read your dream journal when you're bored.

Perform regular reality checks whenever you see something strange; really whenever you think about it. Repeat a phrase like "I am dreaming" or "I will obtain lucidity" over and over again as you're falling asleep. Basically, PERSISTENCE!
