      Been here for awhile, just getting back into it, heres my intro.

      Hello everyone, my forum name is Rusted In Peace (You guessed it, Megadeth, 1990)

      Stating that, I LOVE metal. Death Metal, Progressive, Black, Groove, Thrash, Slam, Brutal, Power metal, almost everything. I love music, and play drums too.

      Ive recently free'd up ALOT of time for myself, so I'd like to get back into LD.

      Welcome back!

      The only really heavy music I like is shoegaze. Check out My Bloody Valentine's 'Loveless' if you haven't already. They have an incredibly dense sound but they play these amazing Brian Wilsonesque melodies instead of gratuitous solos.

      ahhhh My Bloody Valentine. I love them as I love the whole Shoegaze scene (Slowdive, Lush, Loveliescrushing, ...) but I think it isn't that sort of heaviness OP is looking for : P

      Im looking more forwards to the 'abominable putridity' heavy. With some technical death metal for good kicks. The Last Felony, The Faceless, Necrophagist, Arsis, ect.

      I also love the band Death. ALOT.
