      Sleep Paralysis and Reverse Blinking

Can someone explain this to me?

What is sleep paralysis? I googled it, but it didn't sound like something I would want. What is it about sleep paralysis that I want to achieve?

And how do I do reverse blinking and what will it do for me?

Thanks.. just trying to learn some stuff here

I'm not quite sure what reverse blinking is, but by achieving sleep paralysis (SP) it just means your that much closer to achieving a WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream.)

I suggest you search around the forum and look at the stickies and the tutorials in the tutorial section.

Lol that part made me smile (not in a bad way.) Yes it is when your not able to move, but that just means that your body thinks your brain is asleep (causing you to slowly be pulled into a dream consciously.) People don't always feel that evil spirit near them, in fact quite a lot of people don't feel anything but spinning or falling.

Alright. Most of the links I found said that its a terrifying experience.

I guess thats when you don't force it, when you're trying to force it you probably have more control and stuff about what happens I guess, i donno

thanks for the answers.. hopefully I can get lucid tonight

Hopefully, good luck. Don't get discouraged if you don't make it on your first try. Anyway if it doesn't workout there's always DILD . I also hope your keeping a dream journal to help recall.

Oh by the way with most of those experiences they were probably talking about when they woke up with it and they started to panic (panic = not good.)

I'm not keeping a journal yet, but I already have really good recall. Since I can remember I've always been able to remember most of my dreams.. I can normally play through them in my mind only leaving out small parts that I can't recall.

if in a couple weeks I still haven't gotten lucid, I'll probably try creating a dream journal.. but at this point I don't think its necessary for me

Cool man, sort of like me. It's up to you but trust me keeping a dream journal helps in the long run. Even if you don't want to keep a full on dream journal at least try to jog down a few keywords or recurring dream signs. By the way here's a little something on dream recall.

Start a DJ, it's really helpful even if You only write a few words.
