Thread: Strange Dream

Hi, this is my first post.

I don't think I've ever properly had a lucid dream, but recently I've been remembering a lot of my dreams, and I had a really strange one the other day:

Most of the dream revolved around me meeting some girl, but that wasn't really the interesting part. Near the end of the dream I was taking a walk home I used to take to and from school with my best friend, although he didn't go to the same school as me.

I was walking along and we were talking about this girl I'd met earlier in the dream, and I randomly said "It doesn't matter though since this is a dream" and as I said it my friend seemed to flinch away, and it reminded me of something I read where someone said people in their dreams never acknowledge it when they tell them.

So I kinda flew infront of him and grabbed him by the shoulders and starting saying "I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming..." and then woke up.

I woke up and my friend was with me in the room, and I said something along the lines of "Woah that was a crazy dream", then I looked at my friend and he had his eyes closed and was whispering "I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming..."

Then I woke up.

I think he was saying that because I always get paranoid that while I'm dreaming I'll be speaking out loud in my sleep.

I was a little freaked out, this wasn't while I was going to bed at night either. I'd bin out early and came home and fell asleep.
